Oslo II Accord signed

Israel and the PLO signed the Oslo II Accord, expanding Palestinian self-government in the West Bank and dividing it into Areas A, B, and C with different security arrangements. The accord set a timeline for final status negotiations on Jerusalem, refugees, settlements, and borders.
