New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin issued a subpoena to First Choice Women's Resource Centers in November 2023 as part of a consumer fraud investigation. The subpoena demanded 28 document categories over multiple years, including names, phone numbers, addresses, and employment information for all donors who gave through channels other than one specific webpage.
