Mangi withdraws his Third Circuit bid, calling the confirmation process fundamentally broken
Adeel Mangi withdrew from consideration for the Third Circuit in a letter to President Biden, 13 months after his nomination. He wrote that there was no pathway to confirmation and that the system had become a fundamentally broken process for choosing federal judges. He would have been the first Muslim American on a federal appeals court.
