Trump pardons Michael Flynn for false statements to FBI

President Trump granted former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn a full pardon on November 25, 2020, nine days after Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 election. Flynn had twice pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents about his conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. AG Barr's DOJ had already taken the unusual step of seeking to dismiss Flynn's case before the pardon was issued. The pardon covered "any and all possible offenses" arising from the Mueller investigation.
