Trump allegedly orders classified document boxes moved at Mar-a-Lago after DOJ subpoena
The federal classified documents indictment alleged that in May and June 2022, after receiving a DOJ subpoena for classified records, Trump directed aide Walt Nauta to move boxes of documents to conceal them from Trump's own attorneys conducting the subpoena search. Surveillance footage at Mar-a-Lago showed boxes being moved before and after attorney searches. The indictment alleged Trump knew the boxes contained classified material and deliberately obstructed the government's attempt to retrieve it.
