Cliff Bentz has represented Oregon's 2nd Congressional District since January 2021. A third-generation Oregonian, rancher, and water-rights attorney, Bentz grew up on cattle ranches in Harney County before earning a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1977. He spent over a decade in the Oregon state legislature -- first in the House (2008-2018), then the Senate (2018-2020) -- before winning his U.S. House seat. He sits on the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Natural Resources Committee, where he focuses on water policy, public lands management, and energy infrastructure for rural Oregon.
