Elijah "Eli" James Crane is a Republican U.S. Representative serving Arizona's 2nd Congressional District since January 2023. A former Navy SEAL who served from 2001 to 2014 with SEAL Team 3 across five combat deployments including three tours in Iraq, Crane entered politics after co-founding Bottle Breacher, a patriotic bottle-opener company he pitched on Shark Tank in 2014 and sold in 2022. Born in Tucson and raised in Yuma, Arizona, Crane defeated Democratic incumbent Tom O'Halleran in 2022 and won reelection in 2024 against former Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez. He serves on the House Homeland Security and Oversight and Government Reform committees and is a member of the House Freedom Caucus.
