Stacey E. Plaskett represents the U.S. Virgin Islands as a non-voting delegate in the House. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bushwick housing projects, she graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service (1988) and earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law (1994). Before Congress, she prosecuted cases as an assistant DA in the Bronx, served as senior counsel at the DOJ under Deputy Attorneys General Larry Thompson and James Comey, worked on the September 11th Victims' Compensation Fund, and led the DOJ's RICO case against tobacco companies in US v. Philip Morris. In 2021, she made history as the first non-voting delegate to serve as an impeachment manager during Trump's second Senate trial. She has served since January 2015 and is currently in her sixth term.
