Jeffrey George Crank (born January 28, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado) is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives serving Colorado's 5th Congressional District since January 3, 2025. Crank earned a B.A. in Political Science from Colorado State University in 1990. Before Congress, he worked as a congressional staffer for Rep. Joel Hefley (1991-1998), served as Senior Vice President of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce (1998-2006), was Colorado State Director for Americans for Prosperity (2009-2013), founded political consulting firm Aegis Strategic, and hosted a conservative talk radio show on KVOR-AM in Colorado Springs. He ran unsuccessfully for the CO-5 seat in 2006 and 2008 before winning the 2024 election, defeating Democrat River Gassen with approximately 55% of the vote. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Natural Resources.
