Liz Cheney represented Wyoming's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House from January 2017 to January 2023. A Republican and daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, she served as House Republican Conference Chair before being removed in May 2021 over her criticism of Donald Trump. She lost her 2022 primary to Harriet Hageman.
