Lou Correa is a Democrat representing California's 46th Congressional District in the U.S. House since 2017. Born Jose Luis Correa on January 24, 1958, he grew up in Anaheim, earned a B.A. in Economics from Cal State Fullerton and a J.D. and M.B.A. from UCLA. Before Congress, Correa served in the California State Assembly (1998-2004), on the Orange County Board of Supervisors (2004-2006), and in the California State Senate (2006-2014). He sits on the House Homeland Security and Judiciary Committees. He lives in Santa Ana with his wife Esther and their four children.
