Troy Balderson represents Ohio's 12th Congressional District in the U.S. House, serving since winning a special election in August 2018 to replace Pat Tiberi. Before Congress, he ran a family car dealership and farm in Zanesville and served in the Ohio legislature for nearly a decade, first in the State House (2009-2011) and then the State Senate (2011-2018), where he chaired the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. He now sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where he serves as Vice Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.
