Supreme Court hears nearly three hours of argument on the tariffs

The Supreme Court heard argument in the consolidated cases of Learning Resources v. Trump and Trump v. V.O.S. Selections. Neal Katyal argued for the challengers that tariffs are taxes reserved to Congress, while Solicitor General D. John Sauer defended the tariffs. Justices Roberts, Gorsuch, and Barrett pressed whether IEEPA's language could carry a tariff power.
