Michael Jonathan Cloud (born May 13, 1975, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives serving Texas's 27th Congressional District since July 10, 2018. Cloud won a special election to replace Blake Farenthold, who resigned after using $84,000 in taxpayer funds to settle a sexual harassment claim. Before Congress, Cloud owned Bright Ideas Media in Victoria, Texas and chaired the Victoria County Republican Party from 2010 to 2017. In the 119th Congress, Cloud serves on the Committee on Appropriations and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
